صارفین کی جانب سے شدید تنقید کا نشانہ بننے کے بعد یوٹیوب نے لوگوں کو پیسے کمانے کا نیا موقع فراہم کردیا۔ یوٹیوب کی جانب سے صارفین کو پیڈ چینل ممبرشب کا نیا آپشن فراہم کردیا گیا ہے۔
غیر ملکی خبر رساں ایجنسی سے بات کرتے ہوئے یوٹیوب کے پروڈکٹ چیف آفیسر کا کہنا تھا کہ گوگل پر بڑے پیمانے پر ملنے والا ریوینیو اشتہاروں سے آتا ہے، جو ہمارا ہدف رہے گا۔
پروڈکٹ چیف آفیسر کے مطابق ہمیں اشتہاروں سے ملنے والے ریوینو  کے علاوہ بھی دیگر چیزوں کے بارے میں سوچنا چاہیئے، یوٹیوب صارفین کو زیادہ سے زیادہ پیسے کمانے کیلئے مزید موقع اور سہولیات ملنی چاہیئے۔
یوٹیوب پر حاصل چینل ممبر شپ کیلئے 4.99 امریکی ڈالر فی ماہ کے حساب سے دینے ہونگے، جس کے بعد انہیں دیگر آپشنز تک خصوصی رسائی دی جائے گی، جس میں لائیو اسٹریم ، ایکسٹرا ویڈیوز اور چینل پر شوٹ کرنے کی سہولیات شامل ہیں، تاہم صارف کے پاس 100،000 سبکرائیبر ہونا لازمی ہے۔
کپمنی کا کہنا ہے کہ یوٹیوب پر ہونے والی نئی تبدیلیوں کے بعد صارف اپنے چینل پر گارمنٹس، موبائل فونز کی کیسنگ اور دیگر سامان بھی بیچ سکیں گے۔

یوٹیوب کی جانب سے یہ اصافہ مارکیٹ میں موجود دیگر سائٹس کے ساتھ مقابلے کے باعث دیکھنے میں آیا۔ حالیہ دنوں میں یوٹیوب کو دیگر ویڈیو شیئرنگ سائٹ کی جانب سے زبردست مقابلے کا سامنا ہے۔
یوٹیوب کے مطابق دنیا بھر میں اس کے 1.9 بلین یوزرس موجود ہیں، تاہم تعداد میں صرف انہیں کو شامل کیا جاتا ہے جو اپنے اکاؤنٹ کے ذریعے سائن ان کرتے ہیں۔
