نیپرا بجلی کے نرخ 1.16 روپے فی یونٹ بڑھانے پر رضامند

اسلام آباد (مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) نیشنل الیکٹرک پاور اینڈ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (نیپرا) نے سابقہ واپڈا ڈسٹریبیوشن کمپنیوں (ڈسکوز) کے صارفین کے بجلی کے نرخ میں 1.16 روپے فی یونٹ اضافے پر رضامندی کا اظہار کردیا۔ مذکورہ منظوری کا مقصد گزشتہ ماہ کے دوران اضافی نرخ میں بجلی کی کھپت کی وجہ سے اکتوبر کے مہینے میں صارفین سے فیول ایڈجسٹمنٹ کی مد میں 16 ارب روپے وصول کیے جائیں گے۔  رپورٹ کے مطابق مذکورہ فیصلہ نائب چیئرمین نیپرا سیف اللہ چٹھہ کی سربراہی میں ہونے والی ماہانہ عوامی سماعت کے دوران کیا گیا۔ سینٹرل پاور پرچیزنگ ایجنسی (سی پی پی اے) نے ڈسکوز
کی جانب سے ایک دعویٰ کیا تھا کہ انہیں 15-2014 کے نوٹیفائڈ بیس ٹیرف کے بجائے 16-2015 کے بیس ٹیرف کی وجہ سے 1.50 روپے فی یونٹ کا نقصان اٹھانا پڑا۔ خیال رہے کہ رواں ماہ نیپرا نے عوامی سماعت کے دوران 6 کمپنیوں کی جانب سے بجلی کی خریداری کی قیمت (پی پی پی) کے سہ ماہی ایڈجسٹمنٹ برائے مالی سال 18-2017 کے حوالے سے درخواستوں کو نمٹایا تھا۔ رواں ماہ ہی نیپرا نے بجلی کی قیمت میں فی یونٹ تقریباً 2 روپے بڑھانے کی منظوری دی تھی، جس کے تحت ڈسکوز نے صارفین سے اضافی 200 ارب وصول کر نے کا تخمینہ لگایا تھا۔ واضح رہے کہ پاور ڈویژن کی جانب سے وزیر اعظم عمران خان کو ڈسکو کے ٹیرف برائے مالی سال 16-2015 سے متعلق بریفنگ دی گئی تھی، جس کے بعد انہوں نے ٹیرف میں اضافے کی منظوری دی۔ اس حوالے سے حکام نے بتایا کہ پاور ڈویژن نے 4 برس کا عرصہ گزر جانے کے باوجود نیپرا کے متعین کردہ مالی سال 15-2014 اور 16-2015 کے ٹیرف کے لیے نوٹی فکیشن جاری نہیں کیا تھا۔
